- On top of coughing, your dog or cat may begin wheezing, gagging, or even vomit
- Irritation from the coughing can cause congestion, sneezing, and even snorting

Some of the more severe Kennel Cough Symptoms may include lethargy, fever, loss of appetite, pneumonia, and in some extreme cases even death. These severe cases tend to affect young kittens or puppies who have not been vaccinated for Kennel Cough.
Kennel Cough is extremely contagious to and other dogs or cats you may have and you want to make sure to have all of your pets vaccinated regularly. This is especially important if you plan on going on any vacations or trips that would require you to kennel your dog or cat. With the virus being so contagious, it is easily spread through the air and if your pet is not vaccinated, it could certainly catch the virus.

Having your pet groomed is typically an all day event and your dog or cat may be in an enclosed area with several other pets for several hours during the day.
